I’m looking forward to seeing all the friends and family who will be joining us for Rob’s Celebration of Life on Sunday. It’s hard to estimate how many people will attend, so the biggest challenge will be parking. If you take the take a ferry from San Francisco, or arrive on your own boat, you can ignore the next bit and skip to the end of the blog. Here’s a Google Map to help regardless of your mode of transportation.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the North
Driving southbound on Hwy 101, take the Tiburon Boulevard / E. Blithedale Avenue exit. Turn left at the stop lights onto Tiburon Boulevard and follow the road for approximately four miles into the town of Tiburon. Once in the heart of Tiburon, turn right at the Main Street stop sign. Corinthian Yacht Club is located on the left side of Main Street at the turn of the road, jutting out into the water. Our gated entrance is tucked in between two buildings, one of which is the Goldman Law Firm Building. A public parking lot is located on the opposite side of the street.
From the South
Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and following for approximately eight miles on highway 101, take the Tiburon Boulevard / E. Blithedale exit. Turn right at the stop lights onto Tiburon Boulevard and follow the road for approximately four miles into the town of Tiburon. Once in the heart of Tiburon, turn right at the Main Street stop sign. Corinthian Yacht Club is located on the left side of Main Street at the turn of the road, jutting out into the water. Our entrance is tucked in between two buildings, one of which is the Goldman Law Firm Building. A public parking lot is located on the opposite side of the street.
PARKING
Parking in the small yacht club parking lot is for Corinthian Yacht Club members only, however it will be possible to enter the lot for drop-offs. There is a public parking lot directly across the street from the club. If that lot is full, an alternate parking lot is located at the Bank of America at the corner of Tiburon Boulevard and Beach Road just west of the Lodge at Tiburon. Carpooling is recommended.
Finally, your Rob photo of the week!
